Authorship
Every medical article on this site is written by a practicing, NMC-registered doctor at Tulsi Multi Speciality Clinic. We do not publish anonymous medical content. Each post carries a visible byline linking to the author's profile, their credentials, their specialty, and their Nepal Medical Council registration number.
Non-medical pages (about us, insurance, contact) are maintained by our administrative team under medical oversight.
Medical Review
Before publication, every clinical article is reviewed by a second NMC-registered doctor — typically a specialist in the article's topic area. The reviewer verifies factual accuracy, checks that recommendations match current clinical guidelines, and confirms that the article does not substitute for individual medical consultation.
The reviewer's name, credentials, and the date of review are shown on each published article. If an article has not yet passed review, it is not published.
Sources We Rely On
Our content is grounded in evidence-based medicine. We cite the following authorities, in order of precedence:
- World Health Organization (WHO)
Global health authority for disease prevention and treatment guidelines.
- Nepal Medical Council (NMC)
Nepal's official body for medical practitioner registration and standards.
- MedlinePlus (U.S. National Library of Medicine)
Patient-facing consumer health information from the NIH.
- PubMed
Peer-reviewed biomedical literature database.
- Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal
Nepal's national public-health policies and advisories.
Nepal-specific clinical guidance takes precedence where it exists; we default to WHO and NIH guidance where it does not.
How We Keep Content Current
Medical knowledge evolves. We review every clinical article at least once per year, and sooner if new guidelines, drug approvals, or public health advisories change our recommendations. When a meaningful update is made, the reviewer and the “Last Updated” date on the article are refreshed.
If you find an article that appears out of date or inaccurate, please let us know — see below for how to contact us.
What This Content Is — and Isn't
Articles on this site are written for general health education. They are not a substitute for an individual diagnosis, prescription, or treatment plan from a qualified physician. Please consult one of our doctors (or another NMC-registered doctor) for advice about your own health.
In an emergency, call 102 (Nepal ambulance) or go directly to the nearest emergency room. See also our full medical disclaimer.
