About Krishna
Dr. Krishna Adhikari is a Consultant Rheumatologist at Tulsi Multi Speciality Clinic, Kathmandu, with over 10 years of experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of rheumatic, autoimmune, and musculoskeletal conditions. He completed his MBBS, followed by an MD in Internal Medicine from Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS), and went on to pursue a specialized Fellowship in Rheumatology — making him one of the trusted joint pain and Bath Rog (बाथ रोग) specialists in Nepal.
Dr. Adhikari manages a comprehensive range of conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout and high uric acid (uric acid badeko), lupus (SLE), ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, fibromyalgia, vasculitis, Sjögren's syndrome, and other connective tissue and inflammatory disorders. He helps patients struggling with persistent joint pain (jorni dukhai), swelling, morning stiffness, fatigue, and chronic inflammation by combining detailed clinical evaluation, modern diagnostics, and evidence-based treatment plans.
His approach focuses on early diagnosis, long-term symptom control, and preventing joint damage — helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life. Beyond medication, Dr. Adhikari emphasizes lifestyle guidance, dietary advice (especially for gout and uric acid management), physical activity, and ongoing monitoring to reduce flare-ups.
Known for his compassionate care, patient-first communication, and clear explanations in both English and Nepali, Dr. Adhikari has helped thousands of patients from Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, and across Nepal. Registered with the Nepal Medical Council (NMC No. 23761), he is currently accepting new patients at Tulsi Multi Speciality Clinic.
